Bhagavad Gita 3.19

Therefore, without attachment, perform action as duty. By performing duty without attachment, one attains the Supreme.

This verse is the essence of Karma Yoga — the path of selfless action. Krishna is not asking for passivity or withdrawal from the world, but for engagement without clinging to results or status. Action performed in this spirit purifies the mind and gradually removes the ego-contraction that obscures the Self.

In whatever you do today, notice when you are acting from love or duty versus when anxiety about outcomes is driving you. Rest in the action itself.
